DataWork GIS

Processing Welding and Geo Data, Pipeline Maintenance Planning

“Safe PE Electrofusion” is our motto also for recording and traceability! All you have to do is transfer the welding reports from your HÜRNER welding system to the PC program DataWork GIS. You thus have your comfortable PC tool for archiving, sorting, and converting your welding data to all common database formats, of course in compliance with the extended report specifications under the standards ISO TR 13950 (parameters of the welding operation) and ISO 12176–4 (component traceability).

And to offer you even more efficiency, in particular when scheduling maintenance operations for large pipeline networks, the exact geographic coordinates can be added to each weld.

DataWork GIS is a database application, running under Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP, for retrieving and processing welding reports from the HNSC 400/400 L unit, the HST300 Pricon and Print series, SPG 2000 report generation systems, and CNC ECO/ECO+ series butt-welding machines.

DataWork GIS at a glance
  • Retrieving welding reports from all Hürner welding system with report generation capability and joining of reports in one application, whatever their source
  • Fully integrated workflow with the HST300 Pricon+ and the data transfer tool DataTrans
  • A broad range of sorting functions: by report header data, welding data, fitting data, measured welding values (including recursive sorting)
  • Saving and converting data to various Windows applications (Excel, Word)
  • Detailed view of error messages, including traceability data and measured welding values, such as current
  • Selecting individual reports for print preview and print
  • Multilingual user interface
  • Sending welding reports by e-mail
  • Importing geo data for each weld and and error-proof assignment of these data to the correct welding report
  • Improved operation reliability with automatic maintenance check for the systems from which the reports were retrieved
  • On-line functionality, for instance possibility to complete a maintenance order for a unit directly over the internet
